Dave's spirit has returned. |
And with it... returns the 99¢ ¼ lb. Double Stack with Cheese. It seems that the prayer vigils held round the world to return the once mighty double stack to it's rightful place on the Wendy's value menu, have been answered. Somewhere, someone heard the pleas of Dave from beyond his resting place.
O Double Stack... how crispy art thou onions. How plentiful and moist art thou ketchup and mustard. When we need your sweet pickles, are they not there? When we crave your soft, chewy buns, do they not satisfy? And what would you be if not for your melty cheese atop two square patties of delicious beef?
No, double stack, you could not stray for long. Your place next to the Five Piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was always waiting for you.
Come, join the Biggie Fry and Frosty. An ice cold Dr. Pepper waits to wash you down.
¼ lb. Double Stack with Cheese: I salute you.

This is good news. Now if only they would give the bacon mushroom melt a permanent place on the menu I'd be in hamburger heaven.

*prays for such an occurance*

YES! I managed to get to a Wendy's yesterday and noticed this momentous event. To celebrate, I had two.

My favorite! Took long enough.

Unrelated but on par with the excellence of the Double Stack With Cheese, have you gotten a chance to check out the Exalted 2.0 action? DV might sound all d20 but you can hardly see the resemblance. Plus, everything pwns, and the Setting part of the book seems to have gotten a nice update.
Oh and I'm posting semi-regularly again, fyi.

on par with the excellence of the Double Stack?
You assume too much.

Does the Double Stack have Excellency Charms? I think not.
